What Game Critics Think of FUT 21

FUT 21 is finally out and we have the first impressions about the game. Many players wait for a review of their favorite gaming publication before buying the game. What you need to understand when it comes to reviews about games such as FUT 21 is that a comprehensive review can even take months. Features such as FUT cannot be reviewed in just a few days because they are just too big. Nevertheless, most critics jump into the game the moment it is available and share their initial thoughts on the game. Let's see what they have to say.

Most reviews agree that the game is not bad. However, they also notice a few improvements and new features over FUT 20. The new game looks fresh and crisp but underneath it all, it's a better looking version of last year's game. There are some additions, but apparently not enough to call it a new game and not a FUT 20 clone.

That doesn't mean that positive features are going unnoticed. One reviewer praises the gameplay, saying that it is more fun now than it was in FUT 20. Another publication says that FUT 21 is among the best sports games of the current generation of consoles. Speaking of consoles, don't forget to claim your free FUT 21 copy for next-gen consoles if you are eligible for the dual-entitlement deal.

Another website gives the new game a slightly lower score than it gave FUT 20 last year. They praise the game, but notice the lack of new features. Although, most of the modes have received some updates there are no new modes like it was with Volta last year. Volta, for example, has a new feature called The Debut, however, it is nothing more than a quick three-hour single player activity that serves as an introduction to the main mode.

You also get to see the new arenas. It's nice, but it certainly cannot be called a new mode. The reviewers also notice that the microtransaction system is mostly the same. This has been one of the most criticized features of the game and it seems like it is here to stay. EA has been clear that, unless forced by the law, their microtransaction system will remain the same.

FUT is one of the modes that heavily rely on FUT 21 coins and packs. This mode has received some new features such as FUT co-op. Full player customization is available in Pro Clubs. You can also head to FUTeamGo store and buy some FUT coins for your own use.
