FUT 20 Team of the Week Moments Temporarily Replace Team of the Week

Just like the entire world, FUT 20 is impacted too by the coronavirus outbreak. The Global Series has been put on hold. In the world of real football, things have come to a halt as well. Several leagues have suspended their activity for the time being. Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and Serie A are on a break at the moment. As we all know, FUT 20 takes information from the current happenings on the football scene. Unfortunately, right now there is not much going on and this impacts some aspects of the game. Team of the Week is one of the FUT features affected by the leagues' suspension. Thus this weekly program will be suspended as well until the leagues resume their activity. But don't worry as a new weekly program is here to replace TotW.

Team of the Week Moments will temporarily take over. This program is based on past Teams of the Week from previous UT iterations. Each new TotWM will re-imagine a TotW that was released starting from March and pertaining to a certain game installment. These cards will honor past achievements from historic seasons. The players that are part of TotWM will be with their current teams. They will also see an OVR increase that is based on the current UT upgrade path.

This means that we won't see major OVR boosts. The OVR will still reflect the player's performance at the time he was chosen for TotW. We can expect to see TotWM in several FUT activities. So, from now on, FUT Champions rewards, packs, draft mode, SBC, weekly feature squad battles, and future UT objectives will feature the new program. Players can still rely on live items to use for their teams.

The player cards from Ones to Watch and Headliners will be getting an upgrade if the player is part of the Team of the Week Moments. Players that have dynamic items and are part of this new program will be upgraded too. As soon as the season resumes, Ones to Watch and Headliners player item cards will continue with their usual upgrade process.
